From zero to deployed contract in under 30 minutes — follow these steps to get started on QIE testnet
Add QIE Testnet to MetaMask
Network name: QIE Testnet · Chain ID: 1983 · RPC: https://rpc1testnet.qie.digital/
Request testnet QIE from the faucet
Visit qie.digital/faucet, connect MetaMask, and request test tokens. ⚠ The faucet is for QIE testnet only — it will never ask for seed phrases, private keys, deposits, or mainnet funds.
Deploy a Solidity contract with Hardhat or Foundry
QIE is EVM-compatible. Use your existing Hardhat or Foundry workflow — just point the RPC to the QIE testnet endpoint. Refer to docs.qie.digital for chain details and Solidity tooling notes.
Verify your contract on the testnet explorer
Paste your contract address into testnet.qie.digital and verify the source code so judges can inspect it.
Submit with repo, demo URL, contract address, and track
Log in here, open the submission form, and fill in your GitHub repo, live demo link, deployed contract address, and the hackathon track that best fits your project. Submissions open Jun 15 – Jun 19.
